The Municipal Court of Morrow handles misdemeanor offenses such as traffic violations, possession of marijuana, DUI and shoplifting, among others. The court also handles local ordinance violations.

The following cases require a court appearance:

  • DUI

  • Driving on a suspended/revoked license

  • Racing

  • No insurance

  • Speeding 24 miles over the speed limit

  • Fleeing/Attempting to elude

  • Hit and run/Fleeing

  • Reckless driving

  • Possession of marijuana

  • Aggressive driving

  • Shoplifting

  • Suspended registration

  • Driving on a limited permit

  • If you are 21 years of age or younger

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments are accepted Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. You may contact this office at 770-960-3012 to find out the amount of your fine. Accepted forms of payment include cash, cashier's checks, money orders, debit/credit cards (a 4.0% convenience fee will be added for processing all cards). PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED! You may pay online at www.ticketfastpay.com. No forms of payment are accepted by phone. Payments issued by credit or debit card must be made by the cardholder, with valid identification.

If you wish to mail your payment, please make your money order or cashier's check (no personal or company checks) payable to the Morrow Municipal Court and mail it to the following address:

COURT ATTIRE

  • Baggy pants falling below the waist

  • Clothing depicting violence, sexual acts, profanity or illegal drugs

  • Clothing with emblems that condone illegal or inappropriate activity

  • Hats or other head coverings inside the courtroom (except those worn for religious or medical purposes)

  • Miniskirts or Mini shorts 

  • Muscle shirts (usually worn as undergarments)

  • Ripped or torn jeans

  • Sunglasses

  • Tank tops | Halter tops or bare midriffs

COURT DATE CONTINUANCES
Court dates may be continued by court personnel only once. Please note that any additional continuances must be granted by the Judge.

REQUESTING A TRIAL

If you want to plead not guilty to a citation this can be done by phone prior to your arraignment date. You may also appear on your arraignment date, which is shown on your citation, and request a trial date.

COVID-19 COURT POLICY

Please do not appear for Court if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has also tested positive for COVID-19. Please email the Court at ewest@morrowga.gov regarding your court date and time if you have been affected by COVID-19 and cannot appear at your hearing.
